SOS :: Survivability Over Security
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
The PKI project is an effort to investigate multiple areas within PKI. PKI technology has been around for nearly three decades, but as far as implementation it is still in infancy. Many corporations have had to learn the hard way by failing to implement a scalable solution as well as current conflicting issues dealing with interoperability and commercial product selection. The SOS Group is also investigating legal aspects related to how PKI can protect against identity fraud and boost consumer confidence in E-Commerce.
