Installation

The user may follow the following installation instructions to install RFTP on the hard disk. By default, the software is installed in a folder named RFTP on the C: drive (C:/RFTP). If you wish to install RFTP to some other location (e.g. C:\Program Files\RFTP, D:\NetApps\RFTP) you may do so by specifying the location in all the installation batch files (install.bat, the RFTPFileMover.bat, the RFTPConsoleInterface.bat, and the RFTPServer.bat). The “Editing batch files” section below explains how to edit and save a batch file.
